| 1.Tenryu Kaku | Tachbanadori-Higashi 4, near the Miyazaki Ace Lane Bowling center |
| Chinese and Lunch | This is my most frequent taking lunch restaurant. However you are hungry, you feel fullness after you eat large sized Katsudon, Katsu-curry or Yakisoba! |
| 2.Ikkyu Ramen | Tachibanadori-Higashi 4, near the Royal Host |
| Ramen Yakisoba | Ramen is a Japanese style Chinese soup noodle. Typical lunch menu for Japanese business person. Ikkyu Ramen has many kinds of Ramen menu. Especially I recommend "Pirikara (hot) Chashu Champon (baked poke and vegetable Ramen)". Also, "Pirikara Ankake Yakisobo (baked noodle with starchy soup) is recommended. |

| Cafe & Lunch | This cafe has a special lunch offer that changes from day to day with salad, soup and coffee at 780yen. You can relax and enjoy delicious coffee. |

| Soba & Donburi | Mansaku offers orthodox hand-made soba with reasonable price. You can experience traditional Japanese soba with "Ten zaru (cold soba with tempura)". Only in the summer time, "Hiyashi tanuki (cold soba with many ingredients)" is my favorite. |

| French & Lunch | This French restaurant has very reasonable price (1300yen) full course lunch menu with two main dish changes from day to day . You had better to make a reservation before you visit. |

| Tempura | Any person you can invite to this Japanese style Tempura restaurant. It's so crispy and juicy shrimp and vegetables. If you go to lunch time, you may order secret menu "Sakana". You can enjoy Tempura and grilled fish combination lunch set with reasonable price. |

| Indian Curry | At this restaurant, Indian chef serves traditional Indian curry and Indian cuisine. At lunch time, you can eat curry that changes from day to day with salad, tea and just baked Nan by 800yen. |
| 8.Sangam | Tachibanadori-Nishi 1, at the corner of crossing |
| Indian Curry | This is also traditional Indian curry restaurant. This restaurant has open and tasteful interior, so young ladies can visit frankly. At lunch time, "Three curries set" is recommended. |
| 9.Kukai | Tachibanadori-Nishi 4, near Kyushu Denryoku |
| Udon viking | Kukai has Udon Viking menu at lunch time. You can chose 5 toppings item into delicious Miyazaki style Udon with one subsidiary food and coffee by 600yen. I like Miyazaki style Udon very much, but I prefer more hard Udon noodle. Kukai's self made Udon noodle is ideal for me. |
| 10.McDonald's | Ichibangai Avenue, Tachibanadori-Nishi 3 |
| Hamburger | McDonald's serves same taste and same quality all over the world. But I prefer Wendy's and Burger King in the U.S. and Moss burger in Japan very much. McDonald's offers special menu almost all times. I like some of those special menu and coffee that changed to good taste and changed to free refills. |
| 11.Kentucky Fried Chicken | Miyazaki station |
| Fried chicken | Have you tried Kentucky's "Twister"? It's chili tasted soft tacos with full of tried chicken. One of my most favorite item. |
| 12.Heikeno sato | Miyazaki station |
| Hamburger steak | Miyazaki's popular Hamburger steak "Heikeno sato" is very delicious. You don't grill your hamburger stake too much. |
| 13.Pomu no ki | Near Gazet |
| Omelet | Omelet specialty restaurant is very rare in Miyazaki. You will be surprised by the crowded young ladies at lunch time. |

| Ethnic & Lunch | Lanai has many ethnic menu with semi open terrace tables. You can enjoy ethnic lunch that changes from day to day. In the evening time, it changes cafe bar with ethnic style. |

| Chinese | If you go to "Shikairou" Chinese restaurant, you will find a 1960's old Japanese eating house. The prices are also oldies. Fried noodle 150yen, Fried rice 200yen, barbecued beef 300yen, etc. How about try here once? I like fried noodle. |

| Cafe & Curry, Spaghetti | You can be very relax and spend a comfortable time in this cafe in the center of Miyazaki city. Spaghetti and curry are main meal of this cafe. Especially, I want to recommend "European curry" and "Bacon & spinach spaghetti". |
| 17.Omori Udon | Route 10, Ehira |
| Udon | Omori Udon's Udon is not Miyazaki style. It has dark soup like Kanto style, but its taste is very mild. In my high school days, I always ordered Udon and Soba at same time. |
| 18.Kimura | Route 10, Ichinotorii |
| Ramen | One of my most favorite Ramen is Kimura. Every time my guest coming from outside Miyazaki, I invite them to Kimura. |
| 19.Paseri | Aobacho, near overpass |
| Japanese & Lunch | Paseri is a brand-new Japanese restaurant. It offers orthodox a la carte dish and Sushi with reasonable price. In the lunch time, lunch menu and lunch box are provided. |
| 20.Shiki | Kencho Avenue |
| Cafe & Spaghetti | This cafe is a sister cafe with Uruwashi. This cafe has also comfortable space and delicious meals. If you order "large sized" spaghetti, you have to realize your defeat at once you see the spaghetti brought to you. If your are "large sized" foreigner, it may be a just volume for you. In the summer time, "Shirokuma" is my best recommendation. It is a popular shaved ice in south Kyushu, with milk, adzuki beans, ice cream and many fruits. You have to try it once. |
